asw20747,
My airworthiness certificate addendum "Operating Limitations" contains
the text required for the annual condition inspection signoff:
'Inspections shall be recorded in the aircraft maintenance records showing
the following or a similarly worded statement: "I certify that this
aircraft has been inspected on <insert date> in accordance with
the scope and detail of part 43, Appendix D, or other FAA approved programs and
found to be in a condition for safe operation." '
I eliminate the phrase ", or other FAA approved programs", thus the text I
use is:
"I certify that this aircraft has been inspected on <
insert
date> in accordance with the scope and detail of part 43, Appendix D and
found to be in a condition for safe operation."

Does
anyone have the accepted wording for an experimental aircraft, annual
condition signoff from a repairman/amateur aircraft builder.
I
can find in FAR Part 43 (subpart D) what NEEDS to be checked..... but nothing
on HOW it should be signed
off.
