[LML] One mag, One electronic ignition

-----  more power:  in theory you can set up a mag engine to get the same power in one config.   In other words, if the main thing you care about is cruise, you could set your spark timing to be just right for your favorite mixture and your favorite rpm.

Some listers have indicated there are some compensating virtues about using mags when LOP cruising at altitude.
All true, I'm sure, but - there is a dramatic improvement in fuel economy when using EI systems.  (even only one).
On my IO-360,  I see about 1.5 gal per hour improvement at 7 to 10,000 ft. and more like 2 gph in the teens.
Does not this equate to  MORE POWER?

Also, a common test is to shut off each system alternately and look at CHT and EGT.  It becomes evident that the EI is burning more of the fuel in the cylinder and the straight mag is burning more of the fuel in the exhaust header.
