All true, I'm sure, but - there is a dramatic improvement in fuel = economy when using EI systems. (even only one). On my IO-360, I see about 1.5 gal per hour improvement at 7 to 10,000 = ft. and more like 2 gph in the teens. Does not this equate to MORE POWER? Also, a common test is to shut off each system alternately and look at = CHT and EGT. It becomes evident that the EI is burning more of the fuel = in the cylinder and the straight mag is burning more of the fuel in the = exhaust header.
