Another technique that works good is to keep your epoxy in a warm box with a light. I used a flat waterbed heater under the table to keep the wood table top warm. Worked great. I think I paid $10 for it.

I do my usual lay-up of the BID, plastic, part, epoxy and plastic, then pop it in the microwave for 5 seconds on high and it wets right through all the BID. Sure saves time and I then roll it to ensure it is fully wet, then remove the top plastic and put in place.
