Many thanks for the spring data.  Now that I have a starting point, I should be able to locate a stronger replacement for the original Lancair spring.

If anyone else is interested in trying a stronger spring, I will be happy to pick up a few extra.  Let me know.

After I locate a replacement spring and have some experience with it, I will report my findings.
