I was on my way from Corpus Christie to Upland, VFR at
8500ft switched fuel tank the engine hesitated for a few
second(seemed like an hour) than caught again and was
fine. That is the first time I had that happen in 110hrs, also
the first time I can ever remember switching tanks without
the low boost as I would normally be above 10000ft. I have
the 1/2" fuel lines from the tank to the Gascolater and 360
loops in the lines from the wing to fuselage. My solution is
to have low boost on when I switch tank. Mike have you ever
tried to switch fuel tanks without using low boost?, what was the result?.
