More definitions:

Air Traveler (AT) - A person placed between upper air and lower air while moving from point A to point B, even if point B is point A, in an air borne device.

Air Passenger (AP) - An Air Traveler guided by an Air Head (sometimes called Captain or Pilot or other things frequently requiring only 4 letters).

Air Traffic Controller (ATC) - Some one who is not an Air Head and that fits into one of three sub-species:
    1. Upper Air Controller - Tries to avoid Near-Hits in the Upper Air betwixt air borne devices except anti-missile missiles.
    2. Lower Air Controller - Tries to avoid Near Misses by finding far fair young ladies (mid air) to engage.  Uses the  "Ident" function frequently to make brighter pictures on his screen since there is no vision requirement for LACs.
    3. Under Air Controller - Sometimes called "ground controller" as though the ground could be "controlled."
    3. Tower Controller - An Air Space (mid and lower) roiler.
    3. Air space planner - Sometimes called FSS.  Need I say more.

Oops, I see now that there are at least 3+ sub-species.

Captain or, loosely, Pilot (Pie) - Derived from Italian Pontius Pilot, an Air Head Air Traveler required to make decisions while using advisors (ATC, Dispatch, FSS, Seer, Meteorologist (Hmmmph!), Dowser or religious fanatics.  The decisions do not have to be right (just like the Meteorologist or Proctologist or other "gists") as long as TCAD (A Mystical Power) is obeyed.
