Which brings me to the following question--bicycle makers are using hollow carbon fiber tubing--are they making their own, or is a commercial supplier available?

A.B.Chance Company and Hastings Fiber Glass Products both make fiberglass
tubes that are used for Electric Utility hot line tools.  Both extruded and
mandrel wrapped prepreg, both are thermoset. I know Hastings will sell
blank tubes, and I think Chance will. However, I think you would be
disappointed in the product.  I had access to all I could want when I built
my 320, and was always about to use a tube for something - but seldom did.
My air intake has a few pieces (one size just fits SCAT tubing) and that is
about it.
