As an ES, I’m also nose
heavy so every added shunt upfront, = added lead in the tail.
Additionally, each wire termination (shunt stud) adds a small resistance (loss)
and a potential failure point.
Okay, I lied. I
have 4 hall-effect sensors which are lightweight and not a failure
point.
I'll send some pics when I stop
seeing the "bird".
