Ok, for those that asked, yes I did drill the holes for the water to drain. And, I just got back from testing the fix.. I'm happy to say it appears to work just fine. I took it up to red line a few times and no shaking of the ailerons anymore. I'm not sure if I gained any speed but the stick was smoother and that makes for a better ride.

Doubt very much about gaining any speed but I could be wrong again.

There's no doubt that the aileron leading edge is flexing, I can see where the paint has cracked and flaking. I've installed four small ribs made from 4 bid on each aileron. All I need to do now is fly it and see if it fixed the problem. I was wondering if I'll gain a knot or two if the ailerons stop fluttering. When the rain stops I'll find out....
