Hello Dom,

We've got 2 Odyssey's in the 320. One on the engine side of the firewall and one on the cockpit side. The one on the cockpit side would be extremely difficult to replace without taking off the header tank. For this reason whenever we have the header off (not very often) we replace that battery regardless of it's time in service. The one on the engine side we replace about every 2 or 3 years. We have NEVER had any problem or weakness from these batteries but just replace them as a "preventative" measure. When they come out of the plane, they go into the lawn tractor and run for many more years.

“I second Marv's recomendation of Odyssey batteries”

I have just yesterday installed Odyssey battery # 3. The first was 31/2 years ago, the second two years ago.

What life are you (all) getting out of yours?

Batteries, that is.

Cheers
