In a coordinated turn the GAS will not move.
If you do NOT keep the plane coordinated during increased and decreased
power settings the fuel WILL move the same direction as the ball.

I always plan takeoff and landing on the right tank. For landing, you are
generally making left turns to final which keeps the right wing high and allows
for better pickup of fuel from the right tank. Alternatively, with low fuel and
the left tank selected, a normal left turn to final might create problems for
fuel pickup.
