I have had 2 Nyla-Flo brake line failure since I purchased my LNC2 in
1998. Both failures occured in about 2000 The plane has now been
flying for 1300 hours and 15 years with no more failures. Both of my
failures were caused by mechanics not ty-rapping the lines after the
ty-raps had been removed. The Nyla-Flo contacted the spinning brake
disk both times. The disk can cut through the Nyla-Flo in less than 1
second. Other than this repair problem, I have had no problems with
Nyla-Flo.
