If I remember correctly, once you got into a flat spin in the F4, it didn't
matter much what the checklist said. If you got beyond "Stick Forward,
Ailerons and Rudder Neutral, If not recovered maintain full forward stick
and deploy drag chute" the next thing to do was climb overboard.
