Jim,

I did not experience the problem you mention with my FB kit.  I made the
phenolic standoff 1.25" as the manual suggests.  It seems to me that
whichever attach point you correct would be sufficient as long as the
hydraulic cylinder is parralel with no binding points through the full
movement of the gear.  It seems to me the better solution is the one that
keeps the main gear attach bracket (GM12?) parralel to the spar...which
means the better solution should be to make the standoff 1/4" longer.  Good

If the GM4 bracket were flush with the trailing edge (as is the outboard
end), there'd be no interference. Is there triming of the phenolic
secondary
attach point to be made to cure this problem?  Or do I simply make the
cylindrical phenolic standoff 1.5 inches rather than 1.25 inches? Bottom
line.. how do I best cure the problem?
