I'm certainly not in
the "inner circle" of the avionics industry, so I may be the only one
confused.
The Chelton release
said they did not have any open or backordered purchase orders from D2A.
D2A is the sole distributor for Chelton experimental products. This does
not make any sense to me for several reasons. I know that there are five
Chelton Pro 10 systems on order with just one panel builder. I am one
of those orders.(since OSH) I have noted that a very high percentage of
all ES's and IV-P's recently finished have Chelton displays. I was told there is
a huge number of RV's being finished each month and a good portion of those are
RV10's. Could it be possible that none of the coming completions have
specified a Chelton system? Could it be possible that Chelton does not
know about the $250,000 worth of Pro 10 hardware wanted by just on panel
builder?
I have come
to believe when something does not make sense, big hunks of data are
missing.
