Anyone know a good source (other than EAA/Falcon) for builders risk
insurance?

John,
Don't know where you are located, but give Belton Aviation (Jerry Belton) a call @ 336-998-8611. He has been writing our insurance for almost 20 years and is quite knowledgeable. I have been bugging him about insurance for our IV-P for sometime and just last week he came up with some ballpark quotes (through AIG I think - as mentioned by Alan) of around $6K for $300K hull & 1 mil liability. I know the hull is too low for us, but we were just "ballparking" at the time - just to get an idea of costs. The inspection and training program (Lancair) is required. Don't know if Jerry can help because they are only licensed in certain states. He did mention that the progressive builder's insurance was available and once the airplane was ready to fly that it could be converted to a regular policy.
