I've found that flat, i.e. completely non-reflective, black works best.  Of course it also gets really hot in the sun so you'll want to cover it with something lighter when parked outside.

    Does anyone have any suggestions how to reduce the glare from the dust cover in the windshield? I have covered the dust cover with a fabric. Some kind of tinting in the plexiglass? Any suggestions are appreciated.
