 The only problem I see with an ELT copper foil tape antenna bonded to the
 fuselage inside or out (carbon issues aside) is that in an accident, the
 fuselage will most likely fracture - breaking the continuity of the thin
 foil and rendering it useless.  This is one antenna that may be worth the
 drag penalty.  Just my $ 0.02
