Like to hear submissions for the best site and connections for trickle charge for the 12V battery.

Had one suggestion to use Amphenol three pin (one unused of course) connector on the ramp inside the cowl intake, and routed to the Alternator.

Another suggested gluing to the oil filler access flap, or under the cowl at that point.

I use several "Battery Tender Jr."  Device for my motorcycle, tractor and airplane if they are going to sit idle for any length of time.  The pig tail connector is located in my console glove box - handy for topping up or maintaining the battery and useful in the winter so that I can plug in my electric motorcycle jacket liner for a little extra warmth.

 

These are definitely safer than using an auto battery charger than can damage our sealed lead acid batteries by overcharging them.
