The pig tail connector is located in my console glove box - handy for topping up or maintaining the battery and useful in the winter so that I can plug in my electric motorcycle jacket liner for a little extra warmth. These are definitely safer than using an auto battery charger than can damage our sealed lead acid batteries by overcharging them.
