Hockey Pucks and Gear Up Landings
I read this on a thread of the CPA forum.
"That reminds me that with retract composite experimental aircraft it is not uncommon for home builders to bond three hockey pucks to the belly positioned so that the belly will not touch in a gear up landing.

After you fair the pucks in with thick micro slurry you can hardly tell they are there."

Has anyone actually done this?
