I am in the process of finishing a partly built Lancair 360.
The horizontal stabilizer is the standard smaller one. My question, is it worth it to cut it off and replace it with the newer one? How is the handling as compared to the newer stabilizer? Has anyone done it? And how difficult of a project is it going to be?

Any help
Thanks,
Brad

[Big tail.... small tail.... lots of people happy both ways.  As for how
much work to replace, big job as you'll have to build the new MKII tail
and then install it.  Great big job if your vertical stabilizer is
already attached... Mike Campbell (Dream Catcher) took a handsaw to his
small tail and suggested that it was a major project to change over a
finished kit.  I'm sure there will be plenty of other opinions as well.
