Maybe, or maybe not. I wonder how much of their
subscription cost goes to rent air time on their satellites. If this
deal comes through (see http://www.wsi.com/corporate/news/releases/usav020806_InflightSirius.asp),
maybe they can get their subscriptions costs in line with XMWx. With
Sirius and XM battling for customers, I'd think that Sirius would push them to
make the cost competitive with XM's service. Of course, the
other possibility is that WSI promised Sirius their current
subscriber base, and is planning on abandoning their current distribution
method.
(Naaah, nobody would do that, now, would they? Yeah, I
