Peter,
The wing will need three separate tapes,
one on the stub, one in the middle, one on the outside angled portion. I
am told that the Columbia wing also three sections so this should not be a big deal.
In talking to Tim Ong, the plan is to run the wiring immediately behind the
leading edge. This will require modifying the wing before it is closed.
Weight should not be very much probably mostly the alternator and 6 gauge wires
– 30 lbs?
