I have been researching de-ice for my IV-P for many
months. I have not been able to find out much about the Thermalwing but I
would put special effort in finding out about the affect to the wing and
tail airfoil. Also, the Thermalwing has been "just about ready" for 5
years. Prop de-ice is far from a slam dunk and don't forget the windshield
and induction system. I really like the idea of a "get out of jail free" card
that de-ice offers, but it is not easy.
