Subject: Rudder Balancing

I just got my plane out of the paint shop.  The elevators needed more weight, no big deal.  I had drilled out holes in the lead and filled them with micro before flight test.  It was easy to find the micro holes and refill them with lead.

But the rudder is a different story.  I'm practically lead in the entire counterbalance arm already.  I'm just slightly underbalanced.

First, is it a big deal to have the rudder right on, or can I let it go with a slight underbalance?  I wouldn't even ask that question on any other surface, but I was wondering if it was as critical on the rudder.

Second,  if I have to get it balanced, it seems like tungsten is the way to go.  Any sources or easy ways to get the job done that you can pass on would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
