I saw the post by Richard Cano and he is correct.  The only thing I might add is that the "C" engine has an 8 qt oil pan whereas the "B" and "E" engines have a 12 qt oil pan.  If you make this change, you will also need a new dipstick, oil pick-up tube and RH tailpipe change (Malibu has a heat muff on the RH tailpipe - IV-P does not).  We also are using a Malibu engine in our IV-P and ordered a used replacement oil pan from Preferred Airparts.

If you're interested in making the conversion, you may contact Continental Technical Customer Service at 800-826-5465 or fax 251-432-7352 and get one of the technical customer service people to provide you a specification conversion sheet.  You may also refer to Continental Service Bulletin M75-6, Revision 1, for information on converting engines from one model to another
