[LML] Chelton or Grand Rapids
I have a GRT on the right panel, mainly for engine
monitoring. I got it because I like GRT's recent-history graph
concept. I also bought the EFIS upgrade for it because it got me an
air data computer for not much more than a air data computer.
That said, if I were going to have glass on the
pilot side I would pick the chelton in a minute.
You are benefitting from a huge technical
development that was financed by the sale of much more expensive
units.
It would be worth $15K just to save the aggravation
of having a aircraft on ground situation depending on a very small
company. but even without that the
resale value of your plane will recapture a good part of that I would
think.
