Lancair flew a new kit-plane prototype, the Legacy 2000, to Oshkosh last week.

It has a new 2 foot longer wing, designed for higher top speeds and better low speed handling, a taller 2-place cabin, a cowling capable of holding anything up to a 6-cylinder boosted engine and larger-wheeled oleo'ed main gear.

In the spirit of custom-built aircraft, I prefer to call it the Force 2000 and mine would have light swords painted on the prop blades.
