Visit your friendly tire dealer. He probably has a box full of old
balance weights removed while rebalancing wheels and tires. When I
mentioned needing lead my dealer gave me a box full of old weights,
enough lead to do all my control surfaces. He said he usually gives them
to a guy who makes boat anchors. Charles Keller
