I agree 100%. My comments were intended to spark thought about what we do in *experimental* situations that can have unintended consequences. It was not intended to suggest that anyone is WRONG. There are two ways to accomplish that knowledge. Rigorous testing and "let's see if this works." Both carry risks to the equipment. One carries less risk to the flesh and blood.

Some of us have built experimental airplanes to experiment.  Your input and those of any other closet lurkers that occasionally open the door and let some light out are quite welcome here.  Stuff that works counts heavily.  Every can of worms contains "de bait" (debate for those of you in Rio Linda).
