Hi All,

I wonder if anybody on the list with the TSIO-550 uses gamijectors ?
I'm not going to try to argue myself (rather point you to the great
articles I just read), but I now believe leaning an engine is a great
thing if you have fuel injection and good injectors that gives you very
good fuel distribution.

What made up my mind after seeing many such discussions on
rec.aviation.ifr was an article by John Deakin on avweb. He proves that
the main problem is that on most engines we can't go agressively lean of
peak because of bad fuel distribution across cylinders.

Sucks articles listed under (http://www.avweb.com/toc/columns.html) if
you aren't a member of avweb, you can join for free and get a very
e-mail newsletter every week which I love.

I wonder Fred Moreno's opinion about leaning will change after reading
that article, if he didn't already. The only caveat is that he's talking
about non-turbo engines, but the basic principle seems the same.
