Bob - Yes, this was one of my more successful attempts at cost saving with the Lancair.
How have you been? Any closer to flying Jim's plane? BTW, I met someone who was sure one could now display approach plates on the Blue Mountain EFIS - that would be great. We're still in the depths of winter here with about 6" of snow on the ground. We were away the previous week and I've been knocked down by some bacterial infection that followed a cold I picked up while we were away. I'm almost back to normal now and trying to get back up to speed on the plane. I'm putting in the microswitch closure sensors (thanks for the info) now and next I need to mount the aux tank.
