I use the hall-effect sensor that's mounted where the old mag was removed.  It makes for an easier and cleaner instalation.  The main reason I used it is to retain that area behind flywheel for the slip-ring assembly used for the MT electrically controled constant speed prop.

Can anyone out there who has tried the Lightspeed electronic ignition had a problem with a circuit board for the pickup mounted without a covering/protection? (Or am I not looking at the web page pictures correctly). An additional problem I have is that I have a air-conditioning pulley bolted to the back of the crankshaft flange. I wrote to Klaas and asked if it would work and he said he had no idea.  I would love to try one but don't know is this will work.

I too am waiting for George however it may never work for me due to my mix valve location--preventing the installation of a Supplinator? I think he said that he was going to be very firm about requiring this.
