If it were me, I would replace the Gyro Horizon with a Midcontinent electric
gyro unit (with internal battery backup) and replace the DG with a Sandel
unit with remote gyro and flux gate.

Then you would have 100% certified equipment and a lot less fear of
electrical gremlins invading critical equipment.  You would have a ton of
information that the Dynon doesn't provide.  The reality is that your panel
already provides virtually failure proof airspeed and altimeter info.

Now you can ditch the vacuum pump completely and feel darn good about your
flying.
