Does anyone have a lead on chrome plating for gear legs - FAA approved?  I read that standard chrome plating weakens the steel but that there is a process that can be used to avoid this drawback and still accomplish the desired result.  My gear legs are off the a/c for installation of DH flextube brake lines, so it seems like an idea time to go for the chrome.  I'm in the Seattle area and would like best to find something here, but would appreciate any leads at all.
