About a month ago I posted a question regarding activation of alternate air doors/flaps for the induction system.  Question basically was does anyone know at what negative pressure/inches of H2O/inches of hg should be considered 'time to activate'.  Engine is turbo charged.  I have had scat (or sceet?? no inner liner) duct collapse during take-off on the T210 I used to have when the inner coils had gotten displaced somewhat, but I don't know what negative pressure would be considered 'normal'.  I am thinking of installing a vacuum operated switch to possibly electrically operate a door.  Or, if a magnet door is used, how strong a magnet would be required.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
