I keep hearing that the CG limits on the L4P are incorrect because they are for the gear down configuration only. Any plane loaded near the aft CG would then be out of limits as the weight of the gear [50 lb estimates] moves back under the baggage compartment. Also that Charlie Kohler has a better way to calculate the CG envelope. Is any of this true? Seems nuts to create the envelope in gear down config? Any one know the truth? Tx Hap Perry
