Thanks for the reply..I've just replaced the gear dump valve with the latest and greatest from Lancair. By the pitot switches do you mean the standard Lancair high and low switches set at 1000 and 550 psi respectively..?  I have just ordered one of each as I'm told that the swithces that are currently installed are automotive and incompatible with aircraft hydraulic fluid
