As always, I need all the help I can get, so of course I turn to the Lancair Mailing List. The questions I currently seek answers to (I'm sure there'll be others later) are:

1.   The top cowling puffs up between camlocs on top and at the top corners in cruise. How do I get the excess air pressure out of the area behind the engine baffles? Less air into the front of the cowling (cooling is good)? Gills? (Ugh)  Exhaust tunnel skirt? Something else?

2.   The right main gear inner door sucks open at 230 kts. Hell of a noise. Don't know if or at what speed the left door will do likewise. Do I need a larger hydraulic cylinder? An overhaul of the stock cylinder? Something else?
