They gave me a quote for liability
and hull of $3300 per year.  I'm a 700 hour pilot with an instrument
rating but only 10 hours of retract time.

I just signed up for $1,000,00 Liability, $100,000 Hull (Lancair 320, hangared) with Falcon (EAA) for $2800.  However, no Terrorism Risk Insurance was obtained as I am the only pilot and I am armed. I have 1900 hours, 1700 retract, 550 make and model.  I have a commercial, instrument, SEL and MEL certificate.  After using AVEMCO for 7 years, I rejected them because there are no longer any EAA member benefits and they wanted $3421 for the same coverage.
