The Legacy kit provides a full-scale firewall layout drawing which comes with a disclaimer:

"NOTE: THIS LAYOUT IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY.  INSTALLATIONS MAY VARY DUE TO EQUIPMENT AND INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCE.  WE SUGGEST YOU LAY OUT ALL EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO DRILLING ANY HOLES."

This may be good advice especially for unique equipment installations; however, I just hate to reinvent the wheel if the current wheel is effective.

Have any of the Legacy builders had good success using the locations provided on the layout drawing for engine cables, electrical connections, hydraulic and fuel bulkhead fittings, cabin heat valve, brake fluid reservoir, etc.?

Thanks in advance for your advice based on experience,
John Kleber
