I have a spinner front plate (a fiberglass plate in the front of the
spinner that fits over the end of the prop). We installed it after our
back plate cracked. (At that time our A&P frineds told us that certified
planes have such a plate to support the spinner and reduce vibration.)
Lancair gave us the instructions to install the plate (I think from
instructions for another kit, ES I think.). Howard Swingle

Do any of you out there have front plates installed in your spinners.
I was told by non lancair people that one should be present, but I can
find no details in the construction manual. Any advice/help on the subject would be most appreciated.
