Yes Mike,

I have a 1/4" 2 bid each side plate located about half way down the
black 4" dia. prop cover plate.  I used about 1 layer of duct take for
the initial release and now insert the spinner snugly over 2 layers of
tape.  I've had a couple rivets break off the back plate reinforcement
pieces and suspect it would be worse without the insert.  However, any
number of other causes may exist (vibration, excess RPM).
