I also used the Lancair 290 exhaust system. I had to do extensive
re-work to make it fit the 320 in the original 235 cowl with no bubbles or
blisters neccessary.
The change to the #2 intake tube was for cowl clearance. No
change in intake tubes was necessary for exhaust clearance which is probably as
a result of all the re-work (13 additional welds) to the entire system.
The rear intake tubes are different on earlier engines, which mine
is.
