There is pricey Piper part that is a low profile quick drain that fits our oil pan and does not interfere with the nose gear retraction. You also need the hose insert to make this work. Any other quick drain will not work and will cause your oil to be very quickly drained when you retract the landing gear after takeoff. I highly recommend you do a gear retract test to ensure you do not have any interference problems before you fly after teh installation. Charlie Kohler has the part number.
