Merrill,

you will get much better density with solid rod over crushed material. just
drill out a hole and insert the rod to match your weight. you can order it
from:

Principal Metals
12 Trot Rd.
Littleton, MA 01460 USA
Tel: 978-688-9800
Fax: 978-688-9898

Cleveland Tungsten Inc.
7670 First Pl., Suite G-2
Cleveland, OH 44146 USA
Tel: 800-720-0876
Fax: 440-786-0802

tungsten is VERY toxic so you should probably wear a mask when working it.
if the price is too bad I might be able to find a small piece from work to
send you (we have scrap floating around sometimes).

Ed de Chazal,

I have an excel spread sheet with all of the torque values that I printed
and stuck on the ceiling of my garage. it is for fine and coarse threads,
steel and aluminum tubing and spark plugs. it from the FAA's book
"acceptable practices" - it's even in color. I would be glad to post it to
Marv if you or anyone needs it. you can get a free excel read/print program
at Microsoft's site (www.microsoft.com) if you don't have excel.

good luck, Scott
