Is there any particular reason why a starter solenoid is typically mounted on
the firewall? I'm thinking of locating it near the master relay adjacent to
the battery behind copilot seat.

Aircraft Spruce lists a 12v Starter relay p/n22735 and it looks identical to
the relays which came with the kit hydraulic power pack. Is there a higher
quality,lighter weight product out there?
