Does anyone have an opinion on the value of analysing
the first oil change of a new aircraft engine. (at approx  25 hrs)

I plan to have the oil analyzed on each oil change after break-in i.e., after the rings seat and the oil consumption stablizes, but I was wondering if there would be any real value in having the original mineral oil analyzed?  Should "break-in" data be used as a base line for future analysis or would this data bias future analysis?
